Spinola Bay Marine Cleanup

Spinola Bay marine cleanup was organised on the 16th December 2018.  ATLAM SAC joined forces with other NGOs and diving organisations for this massive cleanup at Spinola Bay. The marine cleanup was necessary since the seabed was littered with rubbish and plastic. The club is very happy that this marine cleanup was a success since tonnes of unwanted waste such as bottles, plastic, tyres, and also a small fishing boat were collected and disposed appropriately with the help of the local council and wasteserve (photos below)

Atlam SAC has been involved in many marine cleanups during the year 2018, and has already plans for future marine and coastal cleanups in 2019.  #NoToPlastic
